This is a Brooksease model which features a wool blend for ease of everyday use and wear. The Brooksease line also allows you to find slacks that match perfectly to create a suit if you so desire.
The odd number cost sizes is something that Brooks Brothers is known for getting an even more strategic fit for any man, and a 43 would fit a 44 as well with a slightly slimmer cut.
This is made of an elegant 97% wool and a 3% Lycra blend in a great navy blue. The Brooksease line is made for ease of wear. This is a great looking sport coat, so please see the up close photos for the material and the detailing.
This is a single breasted 2 button front jacket. It has 3 buttons on the sleeves, a single vented rear, and it is fully lined with 2 interior pockets. It has exterior pick stitching along the edges of the blazer.
The measurements are as follows:
CHEST = 47 inches around the outside of the coat measured just under the armpits. We take measurements around the outside circumference like the jacket is being worn by a person. We do not take measurements laying flat.
SLEEVES = 33 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 23 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs.
TAIL = 31 inches from the BOTTOM of the collar to the end of the waistline hem in the rear.
SHOULDERS = 20 inches wide from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
WAISTLINE = 45 inches around the midsection of the coat at the bottom button which is about 8 inches up from the bottom hem line. We take measurements around the outside circumference like the jacket is being worn by a person. We do not take measurements laying flat.

This coat was worn just a few times in total. It looks great. The exterior material is in very nice condition, but it is not perfect as brand new since it was worn. We see virtually no issues with the exterior material at all.
On the inside, there may be a few loose interior lining threads here or there, at the lining and armpit for example. Nothing major at all.
